The wheel of life is a great starting exercise that gives a "helicopter" view of the balance in your life. This assessment will help you see the areas where you are excelling in and also areas where there is room for improvement.
This exercise highlights three key things:
- Each section on your wheel represents a key area of your life.
- Rate your current level of satisfaction for each area on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest.
- A few things to remember, this is NOT about getting all 10's but about having a smoother ride. If you were able to put your wheel of life on a car, would it be a smooth or a bumpy ride?
- Also consider which segments you would like to improve and what those improvements might be.
